Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known as the star of Fox's House medical show. After being raised by Jewish conservatives in Wayne, New York City was where she set her sights to study the theater at Tisch. However, very quickly she was active in the club scene and made enough noise that she was seen by the media and simultaneously, she became aware of the devastating effect of AIDS. In the end, she teamed her fame and talent with her writing skills and composition abilities to create a show called Positive Me. Soon after, she was offered a job at MTV, hosting Awake on the Wild Side. After it was taken off show, she started appearing in television and film productions at first in small roles and gradually established herself as an actor.
