Alison Krauss, born in Decatur in Illinois on July 23, 1971, is a well-known and well-off Country Singer. LeAnn Kymes, as well as Krauss were among the earliest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss - born July 23rd 1971 - is an American bluegrass and country singer. Her career began in the music industry at the age of a young child, and when she was just 10 years old. She signed to Rounder Records, her first album came out in 1987. In 1989, she was invited to join Alison Krauss & Union Station together with whom she performed.
