Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa White-Gluz was the former lead vocalist of the metalcore group The Agonist, and the current lead singer for Swedish music group, melodic Death Metal Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz was born on July 31st, 1985. She is a Canadian musician who is most well-known as the singer of the Swedish melodic metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa also was a co-founder and lead vocalist for the Canadian Metalcore band The Agonist. Singing and growling (clean vocals) make up her vocal style. Although primarily associated with melodic metalcore and death metal She has also performed as singer-in-residence for various powerful metal, symphonic rock and deathcore, including Kamelot, Delain, Carnifex and Powerwolf She has also performed live alongside Nightwish and Tarja Turunen. Agonist (2004-2014) Agonist (2004-2014) In 2004, White-Gluz formed the Agonist (then was referred to as "Tempest") together with her bandmates Danny Marino and Chris Kells from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. White-Gluz recorded three albums while she was vocalist for the Agonist. The group disbanded the band in early 2014 after she accepted an offer to be the vocalist of Arch Enemy.
